Welcome back from the dead, Kotter!

So, I'm getting some things figured out about my writing lately. Notably that I'm not doing enough of it. A few months ago, I closed down this blog, as I was getting stressed out at work, or home, and it was starting to feel like too much of an obligation to keep it going.

In retrospect, that was a bad move. Blogging was actually a decent way for me to get 'unstuck' creatively, and I realize that I missed that.

I do actually enjoy the whole idea of blogging, but I think I'd thrown too much in to one basket. The previous version of this blog had no real direction. Sometimes essays, sometimes random thoughts, sometimes brief snippets of things that had occurred to me.

And so, I've come up with a plan. Probably not a good plan, but a plan nonetheless.

I've got three 'blogs' set up now. This one, a LiveJournal and a Twitter account.

My current plan is that this blog will be used for longer essays, stories and anecdotes. The LiveJournal will be used for brief thoughts and just random chatter. The Twitter will be sound bites and things that amuse me on a moment by moment basis.

We'll see how it goes.
